There are two other specialized plans offered by Shopify; Shopify Lite and Shopify Plus.
With Shopify Lite, there's no online store. You would instead add a buy button to another non-Shopify website. This is a great way to sell a few products on your existing blog site. You can also use Shopify to sell in-person with POS lite. The cost for this plan is $9 per month.
Shopify Plus is an e-commerce solution for enterprise customers (really big stores), with pricing starting at $2,000 per month. It eliminates the need for expensive, onsite legacy software that requires a team of developers and lengthy installation timeframes.
Shopify has a variety of payment options for customers. Through Shopify Payments, you'll be able to accept most credit cards. You can also set up Paypal, Amazon pay, Google pay, Apple pay, and even an installment plan option. Of course, you'll pay a transaction fee for these.
Transactions fees for using Shopify Payments to process credit cards is as follows:
Basic Plan: 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction
Shopify Plan: 2.6% + 30 cents per transaction
Advanced Plan: 2.3% + 30 cents per transaction
You can use another payment processor method, but beware....you'll still have to pay Shopify a fee, in addition to your regular transaction fees. This varies from .05%-2%, depending on your plan.
